From the President

Shalom. Welcome to Brit Shalom, the Reform Jewish synagogue of State College and Central Pennsylvania. I am excited to be serving as President of our congregation along with a very talented and diverse leadership group. Brit Shalom serves as the only synagogue in the State College area, and we have a mission to be open to Jews of all backgrounds. We have always looked to our members to find services, practices, and programs that best meet our needs. Your ideas for making Brit Shalom a warm, healthy, growing community are welcome.

Come to Brit Shalom - because we will educate your children in Judaism, join you in your prayer for healing, mourn with you for the loss of a loved one, and celebrate with you in the joyous life cycle events of your family. Share in our joy as we welcome Shabbat with prayer and song. Come to Brit Shalom with the expectation that you will find yourself here and you will find the conditions for your encounter with God. Welcome to our house.

Cliff Cohen, President
