Welcome to Congregation Brit Shalom in State College, Pennsylvania. We are a Reform congregation of 200 families and singles open to Jews of all backgrounds who seek Jewish community and Jewish education.
At Brit Shalom we have Reform style services every Friday night and Conservative style services every Saturday morning. Once each month, we have a Family Service on Friday evening, and once each month, we have a Tot Shabbat for toddlers. Our building has a sanctuary, library, classrooms, social hall and kosher kitchen. We have a Chevra Kadisha and a caring community always ready to support those in need.
We offer programs for children of all ages, including a pre-school, K-7 religious school, a Confirmation Program and SCUFTY—the State College United Federation of Temple Youth—our local NFTY chapter.
