The nursery school is a parent-run preschool open to children age 2 years, 7 months to age 5. We are open to children of all faiths, and follow a play-based philosophy for early childhood education. We can accommodate up to 16 children, with two teachers and an aide. The nursery school offers flexible scheduling with morning (8:30-12:00) and afternoon (12:00-3:00) sessions. We mainly follow the State College Area School District for our yearly schedule of openings and closings, with some additional closings for major Jewish Holidays. The children celebrate Shabbat on Fridays and discuss and celebrate other Jewish Holidays as they arise during the school year.
